As a medical student or junior doctor, have you ever craved support from someone who knew what it was like?
Someone who was impartial, confidential and not going to report you to your college or supervisor?
Well the Doctors’ Health Network provides exactly this. Every state and territory have their own branch, full of caring doctors who know what it’s like.
This service is 100% confidential and separate from the Medical Board, training programs and hospitals. You can call them at any time and be supported by a real human being.
It’s also free of charge.
At the Australasian Doctors’ Health Conference 2022, we had the privilege to listen to each state & territory’s director:
- Dr Kathryn Hutt NSW
- Dr Bronwyn Carson NT
- Dr Patrick Johnson Vic
- Prof Helen Wilcox WA
- Dr Jennifer Schafer QLD
- Dr Roger Sexton SA
- Dr Marjorie Cross ACT
- Dr Annette Barratt Tas
